Description
This Beryllium-Free Non-Sparking Air Hammer Punch is manufactured by Iron Ax
This punch is designed as a safer alternative to beryllium-copper punches for applications where the tool may need to be machined, dressed, or resharpened. Because it contains no beryllium, the tip can be periodically sharpened or dressed without creating the same beryllium exposure concerns associated with beryllium-copper tools.
This punch is intended for use with compatible pneumatic air hammers and is especially suited for Enviro Rack fuel tank puncturing applications where a non-sparking punch is required.

Important Safety Note

Important: This tool is made from beryllium-free nickel aluminum bronze and is designed for non-sparking / spark-resistant applications. No tool should be considered spark-proof under every possible condition. Always follow your company’s safety procedures when working around fuel vapors, flammable liquids, or hazardous environments.
Inspect the punch regularly. Dress, sharpen, or replace the punch if excessive mushrooming, deformation, cracking, or wear occurs.
Maintenance Note
Because this punch is made from a non-sparking bronze alloy, the tip may mushroom or wear with extended use. This is normal for non-sparking tools. The tip can be dressed or resharpened periodically to extend service life. Avoid overheating the material when grinding or sharpening.
