Important: Unlike a hardened steel punch, the non-sparking bronze alloy may dull or mushroom sooner with use. This is normal and is the tradeoff for using a spark-resistant material. The punch is designed to be dressed and resharpened as needed and is not intended to be discarded simply because the tip becomes dull.

This Beryllium-Free Non-Sparking Air Hammer Punch is manufactured by Iron Ax

This punch is designed as a safer alternative to beryllium-copper punches for applications where the tool may need to be machined, dressed, or resharpened. Because it contains no beryllium, the tip can be periodically sharpened or dressed without creating the same beryllium exposure concerns associated with beryllium-copper tools.

This punch is intended for use with compatible pneumatic air hammers and is especially suited for Enviro Rack fuel tank puncturing applications where a non-sparking punch is required.

The Iron Ax punch uses a beryllium-free nickel aluminum bronze alloy to provide a spark-resistant alternative for applications involving fuel tanks and other potentially flammable environments.

Normal tip wear does not mean the punch has reached the end of its service life.
